Today marks the last day of week 3 on the Page Cycle Diet and VEMMA Bod-e. I am two days past Christmas and all of the Holiday parties that go with it. I am very impressed with this program for two reasons which I will share in just a moment. My weight has stayed the same over the last week holding at an 8 lbs weight loss. Not bad for three weeks, especially since I have not added the BOD-E Line supplements needed at this point. I have been using VERVE as I patiently wait. I cannot wait until they arrive to fuel my new fat burning body. I introduced healthy grains back into the diet and even baked a batch of Mike’s protein cookies. (The’re not mom’s cookies, but they will do just fine.) .
In his book, The Page Cycle Diet, Mike Page explains that during week three, weight loss is not as obvious, but the inches will be, and that is the first reason I am so impressed. I am wearing clothes that were too tight just three weeks ago, and I can see obvious results around my mid section. There is nothing worse than tight clothes. The fact that I am able to notice results has increased my motivation and desire to transform my body.
The second reason I am impressed is I have no craving for junk food. Over the Christmas Holiday, I had no desire to eat cookies, cake, pizza bread, pasta, or anything else I would normally take down during the holidays. They were not tempting in the least bit. Just three weeks ago, I would have been craving my mothers Italian cookies, especially since we look forward to them every year. Instead when I became hungry, I craved protein and vegetables. I did have a serving of whole grain bread yesterday, as part of the program, but I did not crave it. And for an Italian to say he didn’t crave bread or pasta, that’s a big deal.
